The phone book scam is that they drive around in whatever vans, trucks, (they get the new phone books from the supermarkets etc. ) and then use that as an excuse to come to your front door... if it still looks like no one is home, they proceed to the back, and try a breakin. They are fast, this happened so many times, been so weird, the later phone calls (repeated) come right as some unk. vehicle is stopped engine on in front of your house.
